On a free mind and meditation
Often, I find myself thinking about future, constantly worrying about what will happen tomorrow. Sometimes, I find myself worrying over trivial matters. Probably that because we are living in a world that is constantly changing. Everything is so ephemeral, what is the haute couture today is already obsolete.
Amidst all these, I am finding less and less time for myself, to contemplate, take afresh breath of air, to take leisured steps. I am always in a constant hurry to make money, more money and more money. Once the money starts pouring, there is no end to it. That doesn't mean that I have started making it right now. Sometimes, when I look at it back, I find myself pondering about the life that I worry so much and involve in making more money and finding no time to spend for myself.
I ask questions, questions that have no answers. I don't know, and neither anybody knows. I am waling the path everybody is following. I am like a mechanical robot that wakes up at 6:00 AM in the morning, goes to work, and leaves office at 5:00 pm in the evening. Again look for some opportunities to make more money. When and where will all this end? Where am I heading towards? Seems like it was hundreds of years ago, I went to my friends place and spoke to them. Had them come over to my place for a fun filled evening.
Somewhere down the line, in the heart of mine lies the wish to be free, to be free of this system that creates live robots out of human beings. When will that dream come true? When will I be liberated from this cycle of mundane daily life?
These were the kind of thoughts that played at the back of my mind for a whole lot of time. It was then I started practicing meditation.
Meditation is a powerful means of reliving the mind of the stresses of modern day living.
Science almost concurs to the fact that meditation relieves your mind more than anything. Everyone at all ages and religion can practice meditation in their lives. It removes the clutter around your thinking, frees up channels that were initially blocked by negative thoughts. A whole new energy pervades through your body. Thinking becomes clearer and you will be able to perform the same job with more efficiency.
Trust me; this comes from a person who has practiced meditation for almost seven years. I have found this to be a very useful stress buster. Everyday, as I travel from the bus, you can find me calm, freed of thoughts and it refreshes me like nothing else.

My first student
As I have already mentioned and keep mentioning that I am a electrical engineeer, and that I am ready to take more students. If anybody is in and around Bangalore,India, I will be more than glad to help out with your homework and as a private tutor.
As part of this idea itself, I had my profile on tutoring website, http://www.tutor-pages.com/.
And I had my first sudent today. A father who wants his daughter to study maths and calculus mailed me today asking to tutor her during summer holidays, for about two months. The dates are finalised, and he is ready to pay the whole amount at one go before I start the classes.
I am really glad that I have started my first earnings this way. And I am pretty much excited also that this is happening.
Wish me good luck people. Soon, soon, I will be where I want to be...:)

Online typing jobs
For quite some time, I have been looking at good online typing jobs. After endless search, I have found very less or few jobs and nothing more. I have agree that I was becoming more and more restless with the search and wasted most of my time. Clearly it was not helping. I found one good website which catered to the virtual assistants. I did go and register on one particular website. I have good comments about this one.
Please try it yourself and see.

A Hiatus
I have been away from the blogsophere for the past few days. Unfortuantely, work has kept me busy enough not to blog on this blog. And you can be certain as hell that any mother at home has other responsibilities that she has to tend to and take care of. Add to this, three grown up kids who act more like as if they are just three years old, the picture of home better be described as hell. I have been busy cleaning the house, keeping it in shape and alightly away from being called a disastrous mom.
Well, I am back now and hope to keep this blog running and going on. So stay tuned.
